Out of date Professional Reviews

I'd like to propose deleting the summary of obsolete review in ExtremeTech, October 2013, by David Cardinal. Many of the features he listed as missing were added in later versions. Page Structure

Given the length of the versioning section, I would posit that the flow of the article would be greatly improved if it were moved behind the Features section and to the end of the article. Possibly with the table itself being hidden by default as seen in the blender page. Does anyone have any reasons why this should/shouldn't be done. Binary Releases

Under "Development" section article says: "GIMP itself is released as source code. After a source code release, installers and packages are made for different operating systems by parties who might not be in contact with the maintainers of GIMP."

This may suggest that there are NO official binary releases, however I can see they're hosting signed binaries at https://www.gimp.org/downloads/ and there is also an official flatpack package at https://flathub.org/apps/org.gimp.GIMP

I found this part a bit misleading. Maybe it's simply outdated. Can someone clarify? SleeptightAnsiC (talk) 22:16, 24 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
